Established in December 2021 and incorporated in the United States in 2023 as a 501(c)(3) charity, the UNTH Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to transforming Nigeria's healthcare landscape. Our roots are deeply embedded in the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, but our reach extends far beyond its walls.
We are more than fundraisers, we are changemakers. We mobilize resources, medical equipment, and training opportunities to empower healthcare professionals and support indigent patients. We invest in research, policy advocacy, and healthcare entrepreneurship to drive innovation and systemic change.
Our work is guided by a bold vision: to become Nigeria's leading catalyst for accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. But we know that vision alone isn't enough. It takes values, lived and practiced every day.

Our Programmes

Our healthcare service delivery unit
engages and supports tertiary and
primary healthcare initiatives,
including infrastructure, training of
medical and paramedical personnel,
personnel welfare, and other similar
initiatives that improve quality and
cost-effective healthcare delivery,
availability, and accessibility of
healthcare services for all, including
the indigent.
We engage in research and horizon
scanning designed to improve healthcare
service delivery, stimulate policy
formulation, and encourage health
entrepreneurship while influencing the
future of the healthcare industry. This
also includes our commitment to becoming
a repository of healthcare-related data,
monitoring and evaluation, and learning
and replicating lessons learned.
Building healthcare-related industries
is a focus of ours, including
businesses, start-ups, and innovations
that address the rising demand for
healthcare products and services,
changes in the medical field and
technological advancements, healthcare
